The Ever Changing Light - Zoom Workshop

WE ARE MODIFYING THIS WORKSHOP TO FIT AN ONLINE FORMAT. DEMO VIDEOS AND CLASS PARTICIPATION IN ZOOM MEETING SESSIONS WILL MAKE THIS WORKSHOP FUN, INFORMAL AND A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN ABOUT CAPTURING LIGHT IN YOUR PAINTINGS.

The Ever Changing Light

This is a workshop that many students have asked us to put together. The Ever Changing Light workshop will help to answer many specific questions that students have about various ways that light affects color outdoors. We will accomplish this through video demo’s, Q & A Sessions and each student then working in their own studio with individual zoom time for one on one learning.

Some specific questions that this workshop will answer are: What really is the difference between warm light and cool shadows vs cool light and warm shadows? How does the time of day affect the color of the light? How does the change of seasons influence the light? How does the color of the sky influence a painting?. How does the type of light I’m painting affect my color and values choices? What really is reflected light and how does it affect my painting?

I promise this is going to be a real fun and informative learning experience.
